FAQ

Common questions about RTO forms

How do I fill Form 29 and Form 30 for vehicle ownership transfer?

Select the Vehicle Transfer Package above, enter the seller, purchaser and vehicle details once, and download Form 29 (notice of transfer), Form 30 (report of transfer) and both affidavits as one print-ready PDF in the official CMVR format. Print, get signatures, affix the court fee stamp on the affidavits, and submit the file at your RTO / DTO.

My RC is lost — which form do I need for a duplicate RC?

Form 26 (Rule 53). Fill it online here in the official 2-page format — circumstances of loss, declarations, financier consent and office endorsement included. Submit with the prescribed fee and a copy of the police report at your registering authority.

Which form is used for NOC from the RTO?

Form 28 (Rules 54, 58) — application for and grant of a No Objection Certificate. The official format has three parts: application, financier consent, and office endorsement. Fill it online or download the official blank PDF from the catalog.

What is Form 35 and when is it needed?

Form 35 is the notice of termination of a hire-purchase / lease / hypothecation agreement — used to remove the bank or financier's name from your RC after the loan is closed. Both the owner and the financier sign it. Fill the official format online above.

Are these forms valid at every RTO in India?

Yes. All formats follow the Central Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989, which are uniform across India. Every card in the catalog also links to the official blank PDF on parivahan.gov.in, so you can compare or print the government original any time.

Is this free? Where does my data go?

Completely free with no login. The PDF is generated inside your browser — your details are never uploaded to or stored on any server.
